Tuesday, August 01, 2017 Packed up and headed for Sagangons to camp for the night. Took time to take in the scenery. Had young kids/adults come up behind us on a protage and let them pass through as they looked like they were on a mission, single portaging and running the portages. Our consensus was that single portaging was the key to getting to Kawnipi in a day without killing yourself. But we agreed that running on the portage was dumb, as rocky, rooty, and uneven as the portages are you don't save that much time by running and there is too much risk of wrecking an ankle or a knee. Caught fish that night but nothing like on Kawnipi.
