Thursday, June 23, 2011 A calm morning and we are out of camp at 8:30 AM. We are on our way to Delahey and I hope to make it there today. We are way behind schedule. It stays calm all the way through Sturgeon and we turn down into Heron bay. Fred lake, Cutty creek and Camel all slip behind us. And the weather cooperates although it is cool and misting all day by 5 PM we launch into Delahey. But I do not remember where the olive jar site is and we spend an hour looking for it on the big Island. Meanwhile it is raining hard. And cold rain. By the time we find the coveted and much trumped up site we are really wet and very cold. But a fire and some hot food are the antidote. And at sunset we see red sky!
