Monday, June 27, 2011 Wake up to hard, hard rain. Tiny rivers everywhere in camp. Cook breakfast but for the first time head back into the tent, it just f@#*ing pouring. Play cards in the tent and finally break camp at 4PM. Hugely disappointing day. I had planned to slowly troll the shoreline of Kawnipi while the girls relaxed. Instead we paddled hard all the way to the last campsite before Kennabis Falls. This was the buggiest campsite I have ever been at. Maybe it was because we set up at dusk, cleaned and cooked fish at twilight and went to bed without doing the dishes in a insect feeding frenzy, but I have never been that overwhelmed by bugs.
