Thursday, June 18, 2015 Woke up early with plans to fish walleyes on the Canadian side of Crooked again, but the 15-20 mph winds kept us on shore. After cooking breakfast and debating what to do for the day, we decided that the wind would allow us to head out a day early through Friday bay at a more leisurely pace than planned. We packed up and hit the water in the wind at about 10:00, and made a bee-line for Friday bay. Traveled through Papoose, Chippewa, Niki, and Wagosh lakes before stopping for lunch at the lone campsite at about 3:00. After getting well fed and rested, we opted to continue on and take the mile portage to Gun to look for a better campsite. Finding no sites on Gun, we continued on to the east site on Fairy. It was a gorgeous site, but we only had enough energy left to cook up some dehydrated chili, make camp, and watch bobbers.
