Honeymoon Bluff:

We entertained special guests on this day. Our good friends Bill (Ho Ho) Hohengarten and David Knudson from Ely came over to have lunch with us at the cabin. We grilled hot dogs and had a picnic lunch outside on a beautiful afternoon, and then we decided, since David had never been on the Gunflint Trail at all, that we should show him around a bit.

So Bill, David and their dog Piwi joined Spartan1 and Anna on their traditional hike up Honeymoon Bluff. I stayed back because of my hip pain, and enjoyed a pleasant time relaxing on the porch at Clearwater Lodge, where they met me afterwards.
