Day 24 of 28
Sunday, July 15, 2018 - 4th Day of the drive home - Alberta
Passed through Dawson Creek which is “mile zero” of the Alaska Highway. Did a little exploring and drove down along river bank of the Smoky River which is a couple of hours past Dawson’s creek.
Once we hit Edmonton, we stopped at a local YMCA for a workout and some showers. Ironically the lady working the front desk graduated from Jackson High School which is the same school both boys just graduated from less than two months ago.
While in Edmonton, Chris suggested that we should take the long way home and stop by his Aunt’s house in Montana. We say “what the heck” and head south out of Edmonton instead of heading east.
