Day 25 of 28
Monday, July 16, 2018 - 5th Day of the drive home – Alberta, Montana, Wyoming
Alberta is loaded with canola fields, alfalfa fields, and lots of oil & gas trucks and trailers. It also has a very unusual park called “Head Smashed In Buffalo Jump”. We did not stop to see the park, but had to take a picture of the sign.
Chris’s Aunt and Uncle cooked us an awesome meal that included loads of fresh fruit, salad, homemade bread, and homemade cookies; this beat the heck out of the camp food and fast food we had been living on since getting out of the Alaskan wilderness.
After showing us around the place and swapping lots of stories, we were back on the road once again. Being quite the salesman, Chris says, “what do you guys think about stopping by Mount Rushmore?” We reprogrammed the GPS and were one our way.
