Wednesday, June 27, 2018 Alaska!
We had another incredible day on the Alcan Highway. We stopped along the highway to see a grizzly bear; he got right up next to our camper. We later stopped to see a black bear - - it charged the Expedition…. I stomp on the gas and burn a little rubber getting out of there quickly. We crossed into Alaska and camped along a small stream with a great mountain view.
We meet a couple riding their tandem bike on a month long trip.
There was much wildlife to see this day. Besides the grizzly bear, we saw four black bear, three moose, one porcupine, one squirrel, and one lynx.
