Thursday, June 28, 2018 Anchorage
We finish the drive into Anchorage; the Tok highway is in pretty rough condition; we may have actually gone airborne a couple of times on a few of the swells in the road. We hit the Anchorage YMCA for another workout and some showers and stop by Alaska Custom Firearms to pick up the two revolvers that we shipped from Ohio. We pick my brother up from the airport and head out toward Whittier and camp just in front the 2.5 mile long tunnel under the mountain that is closed for the evening.
