Saturday, September 02, 2017 Another cool, misty morning......heavy air. We paddle up McEwen and check out other campsites and then make the turn east and head for Wet. We will complete the loop today and then backtrack through Four Falls and Saganagons. Still some sign of the old Bird fire on north end of McEwen and into Wet. Wet to Sidney has a rock lined chute that we are able to float through. Back across Bald Rock Falls and Four Falls. The day has improved and the Falls all have a different look in the sunlight. Travelling down Saganagons, we take a site near the south end that kip refers to as "the nifty kitchen site" Sunny throws all the leftovers into a pot with some chicken and we eat a huge supper. This site does have a neat firepit area, complete with a rock table. Good tent sites near fire pit and a big opening back in the woods for about 8 tents.
