Friday, June 22, 2007 9 Miles and 6 portages. Aegean, South Aegean, couple unnamed lakes and creeks to Paul Lake. Day started out overcast and just after the 1st portage to S. Aegean Lake the skies opened up. With the heavy rain, number of Islands and channels we took a wrong turn. Quick check of the GPS showed our error and we were on our way. Checked out the Pictographs on the south part of the lake. Day warmed quickly and temp got into the upper 70's. Set up camp on the west side of Paul Lake and took a quick dip. Fishing slowed down as the temp warmed. Worked hard for a few northerns and one laker.
