The lake is a wide spot in a river and very shallow, poor fishing, and not remote. Drive to the end of the road, walk in 100 yards to a heavily used lookout and snap a few pics. But it does make for a great picture! Love da UP!

" No, that was off the road system on the Alaska Peninsula a hundred plus miles away by plane. It was also part of the National Park Service, I worked for the US Fish and Wildlife Service. Edit, the last pic was in the Crazy Mtn's north of Big Timber Montana
