Thanks much. I like to get people or people objects in those big views to add perspective on the great expanse.

Here is another one.

These are fantastic Linden. I need to get up to Alaska.

Did you ever get up to Twin Lakes (i.e. Proenekke's cabin?)

No, that was off the road system on the Alaska Peninsula a hundred plus miles away by plane. It was also part of the National Park Service, I worked for the US Fish and Wildlife Service.

Edit, the last pic was in the Crazy Mtn's north of Big Timber Montana

South Kaibab Trail, Grand Canyon a few years ago. It's very hard to get a back country permit, esp for April and October. I feel for those people who finally got drawn for their dream trip permits, and now the park is closed.

I've always been a bit partial to sunsets. This one was shot in WCPP very near where Larus, Simeon and Sabourin Lakes come together. In other words, its on the Bloodvein River.

This is always a great picture. The lake is a wide spot in a river and very shallow, poor fishing, and not remote. Drive to the end of the road, walk in 100 yards to a heavily used lookout and snap a few pics.

But it does make for a great picture! Love da UP!
