I cannot tell if they are the ones that will live here all summer or if they are headed north as the Lakes open up. But it is always a thrill to hear them and to know that another season of paddling is imminent. What is your favorite sign of spring? |

1) Getting home from work in the daylight 2) When the sap starts flowing 3) When I smell things again while walking the dog |

I like that first warm rain, when you can smell the worms. Love walking the dog, and the frogs are croaking. |
