I'm excited about this. As I get older I am becoming more and more into bird watching. haha.

I used to watch the MNDNR Eagle Cam which followed a pair of nesting eagles here in Minnesota. Spring of 2023 a nasty ice storm caused the branch the nest was on to fall. The chicks that had just hatched were lost.

Today, the MNDNR has installed a new Eagle Cam on a new nest. Check it out: https://www.dnr.state.mn.us/features/webcams/eaglecam/index.html

Times have changed, once like Brainerd area eagles went south for the winter, now they stay all winter. Even seen them by a nest yesterday.
This time of year, they feed on road kills-mainly deer quite often.
Last year seen one on a nest after a snowstorm, amazing the eggs survive?
