Could just be me but the tables Dan includes make sizing quite simple to me. This chart is in the link listed.

Thanks. I reviewed this. I am looking for a practical picture of the pack. I find looking at dimensions helpful, but not entirely practical. For example, I can look at the dimensions of a couch, but until I "see it in my living room" I usually have a hard time deciding if it fits the space or not. Should have been more descriptive in my original post....

I have often thought that pack sizing should be done by filling them with tennis balls and reporting the number of balls the pack holds. A 40L light AF pack is not the same size as a 40L ULA pack.

Does anybody have pictures of the CCS wanderer? I am looking at picking one up but am trying to get a handle regarding the size of the pack.
Thanks!

I agree it is hard without a reference or tons of experience with packs. This pack looks like a small day pack. I have a couple packs made by Dan. Good stuff but not a lot of frills to them.

why not just call/email Dan Cooke and ask for info? I've purchased quite a few of his items--all very high quality--and found him to be a straight shooter and approachable.
