I was wondering this myself. Thanks for the info.

I was up there this May, as 3 of us paddled from Lac La Croix to Lake Superior. We didn’t see any motor boats on any border lake up that way until we got to North/South Fowl. We did meet a gentleman who has a cabin on South Fowl, and he mentioned that there’s never much traffic on Mountain, Moose, etc.
As mentioned above, definitely wouldn’t be a worry for most people and it’s a great area to visit, so don’t let that stop you. Hope you guys have a great trip, and let us know how it goes!!

Generally curious about what to expect if I take a trip along the NE border. I have been there once before, but only hiking.

Are we going to see boats on Rose & Mountain?
If so, is it worth it to hit up these lakes?

Thanks!
