I always stay at Canoe Country Outfitters. Close in so easy walk to all the stores. Great people. No frills - just a room with bath.

Have stayed at all the lodging choices available in Ely. They all offer clean, comfortable accommodations . Pricing competitive by all the establishments . Grand Ely Lodge is very nice, but is on the higher end as far as price.

Depends on your budget and what you’re looking for. The Paddle Inn is a decent, clean motel. You’re with your wife - sometimes that means something a little nicer. The Grand Ely Lodge is very nice. When my wife and I went into the BW a few years ago, those were our before trip (Paddle Inn) and after trip (Grand Ely) places.

I too have stayed at most if not all of them. Currently I really like Adventure Inn because it has some nice outdoor seating to enjoy the evening before bed. I like to book a ground level room so it's easy to bring all my gear in to do final packing. They also have good coffee and pastries in the morning for a quick start to the EP in the morning.

Hello everyone, My wife and I will be heading up on the 16th and spending the night in Ely before hitting the water for 5 days. I was curious about lodging. Does anybody have suggestions on a good place to stay that night in Ely? The plan is to get everything squared away Saturday evening and get a good nights sleep, wake up early and eat at Brittons and head out for the water to begin the trip. I have searched around online but figured it would be much better info asking the people who would actually know what was going on.
