I read it. Both the cheesecake and the Greek pork dish sound great! I love cheesecake, but realistically, I would never take the time to make one. Tell us about the pork dish. Thanks.

Love cheesecake! I usually make one around Christmas. My daughter prefers a pecan crust tho. She has started baking them now, and her last one didn't crack - I'm jealous!

I read the post and appreciate your work!
I would love to see photos of the completed meal. The kabob's sound interesting and tasty!

boonie: "I love cheesecake! But never made one.
Dinner sounds good, too. Roasted asparagus or steamed?
Your wife must love you for doing that. She owes you . . . :)" She is good to me; I kind of always owe her one...or two...!
Link to cheesecake recipe follows, and it is incredible! The website, Once Upon a Chef, is one of my favorites. Have never had a bad recipe from that site. You make this cheesecake, and your wife will owe you; make sure to include the Berry sauce that is also on the Once Upon a Chef site!

My wife is in a book club, and tomorrow they are meeting at our house. I said I would make a meal, and I thought I would share here what I have in mind. Main course will be a Greek souvlaki pork kabob served over rice and asparagus. Dessert will be New York cheesecake with a berry sauce. Made the dessert today, and pics follow. If anyone is interested in the recipe, let me know. Shit, if anyone reads this, let me know!
