01/01/2023 07:28PM We Just got back from a 2 night trip for New Years. In case anyone is wondering, the ice was about 6-8 inches thick in parts, and when we went out on Friday the snow was about half an inch deep on the ice (the wind had pushed most of it off) but there were a few drifts here and there. Some overflow/slush in parts, but really good conditions over all. On our way out today it had warmed up a bit, and a couple inches of snow fell, but still great traveling. |

12/28/2022 08:20AM Anyone been to Sawbill and/or Alton this past week? We were up near Isabella last week and the lakes started with some pretty good overflow, but as the week went on it got significantly better. I am hoping to get up to Sawbill this weekend, but am curious if anyone has a recent condition status up there. I figured with the cold snap, and the high winds, things might have firmed up pretty good. |
