12/01/2016 10:00PM I used to live just a 1/2 mile from the Ollie road and Lima Grade Junction. alot has changed around that area in the past 15 years. The Ollie Road is the old Finn Lake Road that was a big part of the rally to get the W at the end of BWCA. |

12/01/2016 11:39AM I "Second" utilizing Ted and Barbara. You'd be hard pressed to find anyone that knows more about the area and the trail than them. |

11/22/2016 01:09PM Overnight Parking at the beginning of the Banadad trail you best talk to Barb or Ted Young at Company Address: Boundary Country Trekking 11 Poplar Creek Drive Grand Marais, MN 55604 Phone: 800-322-8327 / 218-388-4487 Fax: 218-388-2253 E-mail: bct@boundarycountry.com Web site: www.boundarycountry.com I have done it after speaking with them and it is always good to give them something for the parking. Pulling pulk / boggans down the tracked and groomed trails is not a good thing. |

11/22/2016 11:22AM Anyone know if overnight parking is allowed at the parking lot off Little Ollie Rd. Thinking of heading to Horseshoe area this winter but am looking for an access more toward the south of Poplar Lake rather than the public access landing on the north end or Rockwood. Anyone have experience parking at Trail Center? |
