Or I would assume if you took cash out there with you, you could pay for a ride back with one of the tow boats at PP on their return trip to Moose. |

Sometimes there are "no service" spots, but I have made calls from Thomas, Fraser all the Number Chain and others. Not much service on the Gunflint once you leave G.M. and not much over on the Echo Trail, LLC and Crooked. Delorme/Garmin sat. text feature works most everywhere. |

03/20/2017 09:48PM ATT works best. I've used verizon to call for a tow (when on Bailey Bay of Basswood) from Prairie via Latourelles on a number of occasions. |

03/20/2017 07:40PM Last time I did that very thing - I had a firm date and a tentative time. I just used my cell phone and called LaTourell and they came and got me from Indian Portage. I would give them a call and see what your option might be. La Tourell Outfitters - 1-(800) 365-4531 |
