10/24/2022 10:04PM And then it was 73 degrees around the Angleworm Trail on Sunday 10/23. Crazy warm this past weekend. |

10/20/2022 03:39PM I made it onto Slim this morning. NO ICE! The marshes on the portage trail had patchy ice. No one at the EP! It’s going to be a beauty of a weekend! |

10/19/2022 09:31PMegknuti: "Had to break through an inch of ice to get to my lake today. River travel was a no go! Too much ice!" Whoa! What lake/river? I am thinking about entering Hegman or Slim tomorrow. Maybe I won’t be. Uff-da. |

10/18/2022 04:24PM On the way from East Grand Forks to Thief River Falls I passed a couple ponds that had a skim of ice on them. I am sure they will be clear on the way home, but it is a tell tale sign that ice may not be long off. I would like to make a short trip next week if the weather warms up for a few days. We will see if that happens. Carl |
