Guess the secret is out on Stuart since your original trip a few years back, almost every permit is gone for the Summer. Stuart might be my new favorite walleye lake. They are everywhere! I basically paddled around and dropped a line in a “fishy” looking spot and 9 times out of 10 I was pulling up a fish. It’ll be a few years before I head back that way though. I’ve spend a lot of time up in the crooked/iron/LLC area and it’s time to check out some newer waters. If my dad had it his way, we’d be going in Moose River North every year. I think next year we might go in the number chain towards Insula and Alice. By the way, congrats on the move and best of luck. Tony |
