07/31/2010 09:04PM Nice relaxing trip. Thanks for the neat pictures. I camped on that island once a long time ago in the late fall. It was a great place to be as after a sunny calm day paddling in, we got winded in and on day 3 or 4 we woke up in the morning to 4-5 inches of snow on our tent. We decided to leave and fought the wind from the north back to the put-in, where of course as soon as we landed, the wind quit and the sun came out. Sigh. |
