Any lures that you have had luck with on crooked lake? if so could you tell me what kind and if possible include a picture. I want to get a head start before my Late July Early August trip.

Thanks alot!

I'm sure you could still find a couple of mine out there if you'd care to look - in trees, on rocks, in a couple northerns...

I couldn't begin to tell ya, but a strategy I use is to leave some space in my tackle box and a few extra dollars in my wallet. Then talk to your outfitter or tackle shop guy once you're up there and ask for their recommendations. They should have a good idea of what's working now. Then buy a couple from them.

What species are you fishing for?

I think if you click on the picture it will come up.
I had great luck just north of Crooked last July with a Rapala Deep Tail Dancer.....Purple...Trolling along ...the more line you let out the deeper it goes. Caught Walleye and Northern's and Lake Trout in July

my son and I had great success last august there working the shallow rocky shores and near the weeds using a devils horse topwater lure. I attached a trailer hook to them beacause of some short strikes and greatly increased our success.
