We're planning a BWCA trip in mid-August - probably entering at Moose, getting towed up to Ensign or Birch and meandering around from there. Looking for good lakes for smallies or anything else that time of year. Is it better for us to go up to Knife (which we did a few years ago), or go through Parent/Disappointment and some of the smaller lakes between Ensign and Thomas? Or over to Kekekabic?
