Hey I am heading up to Bald Eagle lake on the first of June with a couple friends. It will be our first trip to this area and we are hoping to catch some walleyes. We are looking for some tips as to where we should fish and any techniques that have worked for others in the past. Any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Also we are planning on doing a day trip or 2 to some of the surrounding lakes (pietro, turtle, gull, maybe clearwater)so comments on those lakes would also be appreciated.

Mander,

Two things: e-mail me. I was just up there May 14-18 and I'll provide you with as much info as possible.

Secondly, click on the maps section and find Gabbro. A few of us have marked productive fishing locations on the map.

Mander, it as been a few years since i've been to that neck of the woods but if you want some info on turtle and clearwater than shoot me an email. I have a couple of sweet, sweet, spots for you to enjoy. I am sure these honey holes will still be productive.
