Going the second week of June! Say I run out of leeches? What's next? Next best bait for walleyes? And the next best after that? and do on... I've never fished for Walleye, so I need some guidance here. Thanks!

A 1/4 ounce jig and 3" twister tail. In my opinion, it's hands down, the best walleye lure after live bait, and at times, it may be better.

As far as colors of the Twister Tails, it nearly doesn't matter. However, white and chartreuse are most common. I also use pink, firetail and a few others.

Same with the jigheads.

we use a pink jighead with a smokey black colored twister tail. 3" maybe. it imitates a leech. not sure weight of the jighead.
