We are entering on Lake One and camping on Two or Three. Any advice on fishing. What should I expect? What kinds of fish should I be targeting? I am expecting mostly walleye and northerns. Anyone have any other tips. Mostly C&R with a group of kids.

Go on to Lake 3 as the fishing will be better. The further in you go, the less fishing pressure. There are a lot of islands on 3 to camp at and the walleye bite pretty good off the islands. Try the south western islands. I've seen guys do very well in that area of the lake. Good Luck!

Just got back. Fishing was great for those that brought in leaches. We did not have any but still managed some walleyes on tube jigs and plastic beetles. Caught a couple of small smallmouths on mister twisters. Thanks for the advice.
