I know this site focuses on the BW but I have looked at other sites and haven't had a lot of luck on this topic. Plus, I have gotten pretty good info from BWCA.com before so here it is...

I am going to the Domincan Republic at the end of January. Has anyone ever done any shore fishing while on vacation there? Last year I saw several people fishing with flyrods on the beach in Mexico and it peaked my interest. If anyone has experience in the Domincan or can point me in the right direction to I would appreciate any info you could share.

Like I said I know there are probably forums out there that are specific to this topic but I haven't found any real good ones.

All i can say is bring your baseball glove and a baseball and you will have a great time. If you bring a baseball with you where ever you go you will get a much better conversation. Have a great trip.

I haven't fished in the Dominican Republic but fishing in the Caribbean is awesome, I'm jealous. Look for Turtle grass or any "salt and pepper" bottom and put your fly there.
