Wondering about the fishing in this area. Looks like a pretty cool place to go in and spend a week. We want to base camp so camp site suggestions are welcomed too. Mostly fishing for smallies, walleye and pike.

There are lake trout and smallmouth in those lakes. Walleye or pike would be a rare catch. It is a beautiful area.

No walleyes. Very few pike in those lakes.

Yes it is because you can fish Hungry Jack which is one of the best Smallmouth lakes in this state and has good walleye fishing at night, Aspen which has alot of Pike, although not big and there are other really good fishing lakes in this area .

this is a wonderful area, if you go early enough in the spring the trout fishing is great. troll slow and let out a lot of line. the smallie fishing is great try the west end of Duncan back in the inlet. the falls at the north end are worth the trip.
