Hey everyone, I am taking a trip up to EP 62 (Clearwater) and quickly getting off that lake to spend my trip on Caribou, Moon, Alder and Crystal. I was wondering what the fishing was like on these lakes? I have read that I can catch a few walleyes on Caribou. I havent heard anything about Moon Alder or Crystal. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks everyone.

Caribou and moon are both good lakes, if you get a chance hit crocodile for very good walleye fishing .

Thanks Basspro. I was planning on hitting Croc. River. I am bringing my parents and it is there first trip at 54 so I hope we can get down there. Were going in July. Im assuming worms and leeches on slip bobbers will work?

You are correct, just line sinker and hook will work also, crocodile is one of the few lakes that i dont use lures on, its a pretty shallow lake and unlike other lakes in the area you can readily catch walleyes during the day just as good if not better than at night, you should do well. Moon and Deer are good for smallies and pike .

I wouldn't totally pass up clearwater even though motorboats are allowed. It is a very scenic lake, with steep rocky bluffs on the southern shore. Fishing can also be very productive for smallies and lakers. Take some time to enjoy the view and at least troll your way through. Caribou and little caribou are nice lakes as well. I don't have experience fishing them though, just made a nice paddle.

Thanks everyone for the great information. Thanks for welcomming me to the site as well, I have been a member for some time but I dont post often. Sounds like I should have some luck. I will also see what clearwater is like despite the motors. Are there big pike on Moon or Deer?
