anyone been on Seagull lake ice fishing or camping this winter?

Not this winter, but in recent winters. Pretty barren after the Ham Lake Fire if your looking for wind protection and firewood.

oh i understand the wind and fire damage, been on seagull several times over the years but mostly the south side. looking at the north side for a winter trip, around miles island, have a wall tent, looking to be closer to fishing from the campsite and not out in the big open area.

Mocha- I haven't been on Seagull this winter but in years past there has always been a trail to the palisades. You would probably have to break trail the short distance from the palisades to Miles Island. I might be at Gunflint Pines for a few days in a couple of weeks, I'll try to stop by if I make it up.
