Headed to Ranger Bay in Basswood on 6/11 for 6 days. Mainly fishing for smallies. Anyone had any luck thus far or been in that area?

Ill be coming out of basswood on the 10th. Shoot me an email that day and ill fill you in. Ill be targeting smallmouth as well. Using artificials . Ill be on pipestone or jackfish most likely but ill have a report regardless

The water in Ranger Bay has a dark tanic stain. Only fished it once, and we spent most of our time fighting the wind that day. But it looks like it has lots of potential--coves, points, islands.
