If you are talking about surface temps that is really hard to do this time of year. Sunday am on Sag the surface temp where I was fishing was 54. It was a calm, sunny day and by 1 pm the surface temp was 58. Consequently, between the warming surface water, the sun, and lack of wind I started marking fish on my graph in 40-50 ft of water. As soon as I started fishing deeper I started to catch lake trout again. Monday was cold, rainy, and windy and the surface had cooled back down again.

You better pray for some good, warm temps to get the bass moving into the shorelines for that top water action.

Tubes, swimbaits and Jigs.......Leave the topwater at home.

BOOM.
