I have had luck with
the black 3 inch leeches with walleyes and smallmouth but that is the only gulp i have tried, has anybody had any luck with there other styles?

I have used the 3 inch minnow. I have had luck in lakes in Wisconsin. Never have been to the BWCA with them though. I bet they would work.

I like the 5" leeches better than the 3's. They have more action. I've also had luck useing the 3" minnows.

ditto the 3" minnows for Walleye, smaller ones for crappie. Have personally used it to outfish live bait on several occasions.

IN AUGUST I have good luck with 4" GULP minnows on a jig head, just vertical jigging or fan casting and jigging back. I prefer the pearl silver and emerald shiner colors.

Have not tried them yet but have been told that they have much better action then Gulp. They will be in my tackle bag next trip up to the BW along with the worms.

try the 5" leech, and also the 4" minnow. I have tried both and prefer the 5" leech for action.

I've used the 3 inch and 4 inch minnows with some good results, shad pattern.
