I just got a renewel in the mail from the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources. Can now purchase or renew Conservation Card and fishing license on-line. Nice!

VERY nice, thanks for the heads up! One less thing to take up time at Prairie Portage.

Yup - just got my renewal notice in the mail yesterday. Have not tried to renew yet, though.

O'kay who is first to try it and how easy was it. Maybe this week I will try it.

Hmm, this reminds me that I have yet to receive my conservation card following a CN license purchase made last September at a resort on Sand Point Lake. Shouldn't I have gotten it by now?

I did not get mine a couple of years ago but when I called they were very helpful and got one out to me in the mail. Apparently they had to verify my address.

I got my renewal online today.

1) The web site they listed on the mail-out was not available. I tried ontario.ca/outdoorscard but it did not work. It sent me to a Ministry of Natural Resources (MNR) site, where I entered "outdoors card" into the search function.

2) That took me to a different site where I could get licenses and the outdoors card.

3) It is a bit confusing. You have to engage in "purchase a license" process to get the outdoors card. The "License" link is all there is available. There is no "Outdoors card" link.

Once I figured that out - it went along nicely.

They take plastic and will mail you the plastic card.

Put this one in the 'Great Minds Think Alike' column:
I just called and they said my card was mailed out on Dec. 7th... yesterday. :)

It takes the MNR about 3-4 Months to mail you the HARD Plastic Credit Card type Conservation Card.

The WEBSITE works great. It was easy to manuever.

Worthy of a bump for all the Quetico anglers.
