Here's a couple pictures I snapshot from a video I made while on Raven last year. Can anyone tell me what the bumps are on the trout in the third picture? Sorry the picture quality isn't the greatest since I got it off my video.

I just wonder if there is a larvae stage of a parasite under the skin causing this reaction. Seen it in other fish species,but I have never examined it on lake trout. I have seen it on lake trout,I just ignored it,and did not dig under the skin. Next time I will check it out.

Great pics man! I have never caught a trout, but hope to try my luck this year. I have actually seen something like that on a bass so my guess would be parasite. Maybe fish lice, though, I think they may be on the skin itself.
