Just wondering what some tips are for fishing Duncan Lake. Specifically for walleye. Thanks

Duncan has no walleyes.

I know friends that have caught walleye in Duncan so I'm not sure if they are present or not.

I've never caught walleyes in Duncan, and have never heard of them caught there either. Nearby Rose Lake has them, though.

If you like smallies, Rose has some nice ones. And you get the Staircase Portage to brag about later. And if you're feeling historic, the Height of Land Portage is an easy stretch--but get an early start.

Going to Duncan Lake June 23-26. Are the fish in deeper water and where are they located most of the time and at night. Thanks. Any suggestions on tackle would be nice.
