How is the current water level with all the precipitation? How about the water clarity? Thanks in advance...

It was pretty high in the Malberg area when we got there Tuesday, receded some as the week went on. Rapids were flowing hard.

Similar conditions in the Gabbro/Bald Eagle area. Water was clear and red like normal. The bugs were extra bad and the portages were sloppy.

The water has come down about 8 to 10 feet in the last week or so in the Gabbro area according to our experience the last 4 days plus info from other trippers. The water has cleared up in that time as well.
