Hello everyone I'm leaving for a trip on Monday August 20th. I'm wondering if anyone out there knows of any good lakes for fishing up the Gunflint that we can try I have my go to lake that I will be fishing but were looking for some day trips with good fishing. Our base camp won't be in the bwca but we want to find some good fishing without having to portage in more than 1 or 2 lakes for day trips. Any help would be much appreciated.

ive heard fishing on the veggie lakes might be a good idea. off greenwood lake...anyone know anything about these lakes?
