I have been trying to get to the BWCA for years to try Lake Trout fishing in the winter. To date, life continues to get in the way.
Anyway, are there any destinations that are reasonable for a day trip? Depending on conditions, I can either ski or snowshoe. I have a pulk I built from the plans at www.skipulk.com that I can use with either the skis or the snowshoes for gear hauling.

quote Basspro69: "Moss, not bwca but a consistent winter lake for lakers."
As is Trout by GM. smaller fish the rule,, but some line busters as well.
The two loudest sounds known to man: a gun that goes bang when it is supposed to go click and a gun that goes click when it is supposed to go bang.
