I've only been on a few, but my favorite so far was a late August loop from Snowbank up to Ensign and back. The south campsite on Ashigan is very nice, got to see some waterfalls near on a Cattyman portage, and Adventure has plenty-o-pike in it. If there was a part of the trip someone might not like, it's the portage from Ensign to Boot Lake (220 rods.)
Overall, didn't see many other people, caught a bunch of fish.

Since you posted this in the Fishing Forum, I assume that you are asking about 'Best *fishing* trip.' There is also another, more general, thread going in Listening Point that you might want to check out: best trips ever?

My best trip has been to Basswood. Why? 45 inch pike, 32 inch walleye and 6 pound smallmouth. Biggest lake trout around 8 pounds, still looking for a good one, just never look hard enough for them.

Best trip ever was a June 2003 trip to Shell and Loon Lake in western BW. My then 13 year old limited out on walleyes that day. No help from her dad except for cleaning 'em.

My trip last Sept. was by far the best. Beautiful scenery, beautiful weather, and a great tripping partner.

Other trips that I loved: Trips with my sons, and trips with my brother. Great fishing
