Nice!

Looks a lot different than a big Walleye from the Mississippi R. (the only place I ever see big 'Eyes). That one is almost Zander-like in appearance. Actually looks a lot like those big Lake Winnipeg Walleye. Just a different shape to them up there, kinda neat

That's the first thing I noticed. The big Mississippi River Walleyes I've seen didn't have that or it was less noticeable. I've gotten Miss' 'eyes to 30" and have seen a couple 14lbers caught and never really noticed that huge hump. They just seem like they get thick all the way through, maybe I'm just mis-remembering (been a while since I hit them hard), but I'm pretty those "southern" walleyes just look different.

you decide where your tripping yet this year. I think we're going to crooked, been to the fraser area the last 2 years wanna catch some smallies this year, although the walleye fishing on fraser is fantastic

That is a beautiful fish.

It looks nothing like a Lake Winnipeg greenback - those things have a different look altogether.

Wow, what a sow!

I see some split fins...she might have been in a landing net in the last year too.

C.P.R. baby!

My bad I've never seen one in person. I know the pictures I've seen look really different from any Walleye I've caught. But then so does this fish, I'll have to look at some greenback pics again. Local fish variation is always interesting. Either way it looks tons different than any Mississippi River Walleye I've ever seen.
