Wow! Great Fish! What bait presentations are hot up there right now? Are these fish still shallow?

Yup, fish are real shallow because the water is still very cold.
The other day I caught an 8 pound walleye in 9 fow, a small 30 inch Pike in 3 fow, and an 18 inch Scaled Rat (aka a Smallie) in 5 fow.
All fish were taken with a 3 inch sucker on a plain hook with NO SINKER.

Yup, have a picture of it on a fish measuring board, since I was alone in the boat.
I can send you one in an e mail, but don't know how to post a picture on the bwca.com forum.

I'm glad you asked.
The sucker I used is a small fish.
Ironically, it's the same name that anyone buying a crank bait is called!!! :)
Bwahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yup,
That's my girlfriend Celia posing with a 29 3/4 inch walleye, taken from Burntside Lake the other day.
I also have a picture of a 40 3/4 inch northern caught a day earlier, but it's in a measuring box.
