it's not that #10 mark but i may not catch a bigger one ? and if i do it will be released. the story on this fish is i have a winter spot on waconia that i have done good for walleyes but it has been kind of dead as of late that not even my son wanted to go there, well it was a friday(1-4-13) and not feeling good with the flu i talked myself into going out after work for a few hours, by myself, i'm 4 blocks from the lake and my old bronco gets where i need to be. and my persistent paid off at sundown and being a metro lake i got it mount, the wood i got off of ebay black walnut. stained it and urethane. :)

Fish is enormous even against that great wood slab. I'd be proud to have that in my study.

28 1/2" #8-10 on intowne marina's scale. i do need to give a shout out to alan at unlimted wildlife taxidermy in watertown.

That is a beautiful mount, the black walnut really sets it off.

very nice looking fish! its those times like you explain when you think there is no hope but you go anyway, and then something great happens. those are the moments that give me the drive to keep at it even when the odds seem stacked against you.
