We need to put the same folks on the invasive big head and grass carp problem who saved Tylenol. Ad men. A bunch of people died and they fixed it and Tylenol still thrives. Remember that? The point is that Madison Avenue can create demand. There needs to be a demand created for these carp. For food. We fished down the North Atlantic and Red Lake, don't tell me we can't fish down the Mississippi.

Better yet how about a huntin season, they can shoot em out of mid air, take care of the Asian carp problem and eliminate quite a few rednecks at the same time. (just a thought)

I agree, get the Tylenol folks on this. They could put all the carp in a plastic container, glue a foil seal across the opening, twist a child-proof cap on it, shrink wrap a plastic seal over the cap, and put it all inside a box with the ends sealed shut. Health warning sheets and cotton balls optional. Done.

There is very good efforts in and around the Tennessee River systems, that are attempting to find ways to harvest these evil fish.
BTW......they are a bear to clean, but if you do you will be surprised by how good they taste.
Lots and LOTS of waste in a filet, but definitely worth throwing in the hot oil.

In the spirit of the political correctness discussed on this thread, I would like to share an in-poor-taste joke that was made up by someone who was a bad person. So I don't offend anyone, I won't even tell the joke, I'll just list the elements and you can construct the joke yourself. Shame on you!
