I'm not the big fisherman and do not own a boat (only canoes), but thought this may be something to watch develop. Lehr Outboard Motors

Interesting idea but I am not sure on the efficiency comparison to regular gas. It would seem you would need more fuel-and-tank weight and space with the propane - just looking at the hours of operation per lb of propane fuel.

The last time I did a motorized trip I was using a 15 horse motor and got about 6 hours out of 4 gallons.
Fairly similar to what this advertises - except the fact that I didn't need a bulky pressurized tank, and my extra/spare fuel was in a lite-weight gas can.

A little change in subject, but I noticed and friends have noticed a huge increase in hours of use you get when you go to 4 cycle. Lot less fumes also.

The 2-stroke exhaust is the best part though!

This isn't completely on topic but if memory serves me correct the cabs in Madison. Wi., run on propane.

That 2 stroke exhaust is definitely nostalgic these days and brings back many fond memories. Speaking of propane vehicles, Ozinga concrete in the Chicago area is running quite a few propane cement mixers these days.

(off original post) i try to talk to alot of ice fisherman when i see a propane or electric ice auger. the propane ones you want a full fuel tank(1 lb). once they go under half no good. the ion electric, keep the pack warm and/or buy a second pack for longer stays out on the ice. and all the fly in's i've done they've all had propane fridge/freezer.
