Would I be able to get an Ontario Sportsman's Card and fishing license somewhere up there while camping on Sag or did I need to order those online ahead of time? (is their ranger station still in operation?)

I have an RABC. I would not plan to go into Quetico.

I would get it online before the trip if possible. You never know if they run out of a form or license.

I agree. I fish Quetico every year and getting them ahead of time gets me in and out of the ranger station much quicker. Why waste time when you can be fishing.

There is a little family owned resort on the Canadian side of Sag called Sagonto. I was talking to him at the boat landing 2 days ago and he mentioned that they still sell Canadian licences. I agree that it is easier to purchase them online and print them out. Sagonto also sells leeches which is nice since you need to purchase leeches in Canada to use them in Canada.

Sometimes the ranger station can't issue fishing licenses or outdoors cards, fyi. I'd get it online, and as others have said, it saves you time at the ranger station.

Understood on getting it online however I don't think it is going to get to me by 5 pm today when we leave - hence the question about getting it up there (which, admittedly wasn't that clear).
